SOETNGO operates through a dual structure, the Board and the Management, which have separate but complimentary roles.
The Board consists of a team of nine elected members, comprising of 4 male and 5 female and led by a Board Chair, Honorary Treasurer and Board Secretary. The latter is also the Chief Executive officer of the organization. The board provides policy direction to the organization and continuously advice the management in ensuring that SOETNGO fulfills its legal responsibility, be credible and maintain good reputation. In addition, the board has continuously assisted the management in resource mobilization and fundraising.
The Management of SOETNGO is responsible for the implementation of the organizational policy set and ensuring that works effectively and efficiently by translating and implementing the mission into achievable program objectives and activities. The management is under the team leadership of the Chief Executive Officer. The CEO is responsible for building sustainability of the organizations, programs and projects effectiveness and efficiency as well as managing relationships with staff, project beneficiaries, partners, government, and donors. Currently SOETNGO has 13 staff members and 4 volunteers. The staff manages SOETNGO’s projects, Management and Administration portfolio of the organization. SOETNGO has 2 offices, in Eldoret and Kapsokwony.
